GoKerry.ie Selected as Winner of the Community Enterprise & Innovation Category at the 2013 Kerry Community Awards

We are delighted to announce that GoKerry.ie has been recognised for its work in grassroots community tourism around the county and thus has been awarded the Community Enterprise & Innovation Category at the 2013 Kerry Community Awards.

The GoKerry Team would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Members as well as Kerry Enterprise Board, South Kerry Development Partnership Ltd., North & East Kerry Development, IRD Duhallow, Meitheal Forbartha na Gaeltachta, Institute of Technology Tralee and Kerry County Council for their continued support and especially to the Department of Social Protection for their commitment and support in providing the GoKerry team of Coordinators and Administrators around the county.

The Kingdom of Kerry...Kerry means the "people of Ciar" which was the name of the pre-Gaelic tribe who lived in part of the present County. We are located In the South West region of Ireland which is also part of the Province of Munster.

Travelling to Kerry...has never been easier. Only 1 hour from Cork City and Shannon Airport and 3 hours from Dublin. Kerry is easily accessible. With a modern road network in place and train and bus services daily. Better still fly direct to Kerry County Airport, with flights arriving from Frankfurt Hahn (Germany), Luton and Stansted (England), Dublin, Faro (Portugal) and Alicante (Spain).
